The concept for the home was developed after many years operating the Agape Home and taking in the children of mothers who, because of their own health, were left with no other alternative but to surrender their children to an orphanage for care. Often these are young women who have no other family to support them, or to take their children for them. In many

of these cases, the mother and child do not want to be separated, but the reality of the mother's health might otherwise require it in the absence of assistance.
